In order to celebrate the announcement, Turn 10 Studios has revealed some additional news about Forza Horizon 3, including the Windows 10 PC specs, the full Xbox Live achievements list, and a very special additional to the vehicle roster – the Warthog from the Halo universe. It also means that it is now setup for digital release and reviewers over the coming weeks. This means that Forza Horizon 3 is now ready to be printed onto discs and shipped to retailers around the world. With Forza Horizon 3 under a month away, Microsoft and developer Playground Games has announced that the game has officially gone gold. This is only a small sample of 350+ Forzavista cars available in the full version of Forza Horizon 3. Along the way you’ll also get to drive more than one dune buggy, a rough-and-ready trophy truck and your choice from cars such as the BMW M4 Coupe, the Ford Shelby GT350R, as well as that Australian legend in the making, the 2014 HSV Limited Edition GEN-F GTS Maloo. Vehicles featured in the demo include cars such as the game’s cover cars, the Lamborghini Centenario. You can even hire Drivatars, choose a starter car, smash into bonus boards, and compare statistics with your friends! In addition, the demo will also feature online freeroam if you want to start exploring Australia with your friends! There's also Photo mode and Drone mode in the demo as well. The demo initiates with the three introductory events as shown at various expos, such as E3 and Gamescom. You’ll have access a “portion” of the game’s map in the demo, while taking a guided tour of some of the best features on offer in the game. With just a couple of weeks until Forza Horizon 3 hits store shelves on September 27th, the demo allows you to get started on your Australian adventure without waiting too much longer. These tweets pointed to a livestream on the developer’s Twitch channel, when the demo was finally unveiled. The announcement was initially made through a few cryptic tweets via the official Forza Motorsport handle on Twitter, where Turn 10 Studios counted down to 6pm BST (10am PDT, 1pm EST) with screenshot tweets every ten minutes.
Microsoft has announced the highly-anticipated demo for Forza Horizon 3 shall be available for download from the Xbox Store beginning today.
